Many
people ask us where and how to purchase
doves.
The
two domestic species (Ringneck
Streptopelia risoria and Diamond
Geopelia cuneata) are often
available at your local pet store. Keep
in mind that there are many
color varieties of each species available
and that pet stores typically only have
one or two of these available. Perhaps the
better idea is to get in touch with a dove
breeder who is likely to have a larger variety
of color combinations as well as a selection
of some of the exotic dove species.
Don't
know any local dove breeders? That's OK!
When it comes to purchasing doves from a
breeder, there is some good news... Since
the US Postal Service considers doves as
"poultry" they may be shipped
via overnight Express Mail quite economically
therefore they are quite accessible from
all across the country.
Below

would be happy to ship them right to your
